When ICC came to us, their Drupal site was outdated, disorganized, and difficult to maintain. While Zach gave them a beautiful new design, I re-engineered the back-end from the ground up. The result was a site that is appealing to both visitors and content managers.

“MyCalvary” is the working title for the next version of the Calvary Bible Church website. Whereas the current site emphasizes official news from the church office, the new site will introduce Web 2.0 elements to create an online community for Calvary’s members.

This website, for Kalamazoo-based electricians Kerwin Electric, was another collaboration with graphic designer Zach DeYoung. The result is a pixel-perfect implementation of Zach’s design, using subtle CSS3 and jQuery effects for extra shine.

MacTech Magazine and Christians in Recovery asked me to create a simple module to integrate their UBB.threads-based forums with their Drupal websites. We then contributed the module to the Drupal community; it’s available for free on drupal.org.

In 2008, Carl Walker, Inc. hired me to convert their static HTML site to Drupal. The following year, they asked me to implement a new design created by E.B. Lane. The site features a jQuery image gallery, custom plug-ins for the CCK and Views modules, and a custom module for processing client surveys.

Divide the Word Ministries (now renamed 2 Make Him Famous) is the homepage of Seth Kniep, a prolific blogger, author, and evangelist. In 2008, Zach and I redesigned and reorganized his site on Drupal to better handle the vast number of articles, podcasts, and videos he produces.

My first Drupal project was for Calvary Bible Church, a large independent church in Kalamazoo, MI. Originally built on Drupal 4.7, then updated to D5, this design has served successfully as the church’s main communications hub since 2007. It was also the first of my many collaborations with graphic designer Zach DeYoung.
